Todd and his family had a nice holiday season and his condition has been stable for the past month. Todd is receiving chemotherapy every other Friday and this seems to have stabilized his condition for the present. He is in good spirits. I act as caregiver every Thursday or whenever I am needed to fill in. When the weather permits and it isn't raining or snowing we go out for lunch. Two weeks ago the temperature was in the mid 30's and we went over to the Silver Spring House for lunch and had a great big burger and fries. The week before Christmas, we went to a Mexican south side pub and eatery and had a delicious burrito plate with rice and beans. On the way out of the restaurant, Todd's right leg gave out and he fell to the ground scraping his knee. He was able to get back on his feet with my help and then we stopped by the local Harbor Freight store to look at tools. Then we went home and he took a nap because he was all tuckered out.
All in all Todd is doing as well as can be expected, and his family and friends are caring for his needs and helping him to get out into the world as often as his health and the weather will permit.
